Cinnamon Grand’s Village in the City, Nuga Gama, has been certified as Asia’s first CarbonNeutral® venue, by the internationally acclaimed Carbon Consultancy Company. This is yet another instance of Nuga Gama’s focus on being energy efficient and reducing carbon emissions while offering ‘green’ and sustainable options to those who patronize the venue. Here we see Prof. Mohan Munasinghe, advisor to the Carbon Consulting Company presenting the Carbon Neutral Certification for Nuga Gama to Cinnamon Grand’s General Manager Rohan Karr, in the presence of Chief Operating Officer of the Carbon Consulting Company Sanith De Silva and Cinnamon Grand’s Marketing Communications and Sustainability Manager Tharika Goonathilake.
