JKH “B” (team) retained the “Bowl Championship” by emerging victorious in the Bowl segment for the 3rd consecutive year. The Bowl tier permits a maximum of only 3 A division players, therefore the team led by Radeesha Senivirathne (Cinnamon Red) combined well with the rest of his colleagues in order to retain the trophy with JKH. The note able performances came from the captain himself who led the team admirably, along with Ramesh Fernando who won the award for the tournaments “up and coming” player. JKH B beat Dialog B in the Bowl finals convincingly with a score of 29 to 05 in favor of JKH.

JKH “A” met stiff opposition in the Cup segment, with teams such as Access and Dialog A boasting of a host of the countries national 7s players. Unfortunately, the team was relegated to the Plate segment and ended the competition as runners up – losing to Nation Lanka PLC by 28 points to 22 in a closely contested Plate final, which saw Nation Lanka beating JKH on the very last move of the match.
